Phillip and Eduardo got married a couple of weeks ago and had not one, but two beautiful weddings! The first was their legal ceremony at Bradford Town hall on 4th November, where they were joined by both their families (Ed's having travelled from Spain to be there). I joined them to capture some memories for them, before leaving them to celebrate with their families with a meal at Bingley Five Rise Locks Hotel and prepare for the main event the next day.
The following day, I joined them at Oakwood Hall prior to their ceremony to capture images of them getting ready together. Oakwood is a lovely historic venue and I love shooting there. It was also where Phill's parents held their own wedding reception. They had a fantastic ceremony conducted in both English and Spanish by the wonderful Sonia Esposito. It was such a personal ceremony, full of love and laughter. Their families were very much involved in the ceremony; they were escorted into the ceremony by their mothers, their brothers did fantastic readings, the guests wrote messages to the couple and Phill and Ed exchanged personal vows to each other. They also incorporated a hand-tying ceremony; their brothers binding their hands together for them.
After the ceremony, they had a drinks reception, before taking some time out to capture images with their families, guests and just the two of them. After that, it was onto the wedding breakfast and speeches and evening celebration, where I left them to party the night away.
I had such a lovely time capturing Phill and Ed's wedding. The love and happiness in the room was overwhelming and I left feeling like I'd shared something special with them. Here are a few images from the day... I hope you like them guys; the rest will be with you shortly.
