Lisa and Neil married back in September. They had a beautiful ceremony at St Oswald's Church in Guiseley, which was filled with laughter, followed by a celebration meal and party at Hollins Hall in Baildon. The day was full of personal touches and it was really evident that Lisa had put a lot of time into thinking of all the little details.
I began the day with the Groomsmen at Lisa and Neil's home. The mood was already celebratory! Lisa had left individual poems and gift boxes for each of the groomsmen, containing personalised socks and cufflinks for them to wear that day. A lovely touch. We then headed to their local for a swift pint. Lisa had arranged for another poem and gift for Neil, to be opened with his sister... it was a thoughtful present that commemorated their father, who had passed away, and made sure that he was part of their day.
I then headed to Hollins Hall, where the ladies were getting ready and more gifts were given. I spent some time with them capturing all the details Lisa had spent time creating, before heading to the church to photograph the ceremony. It was a really lovely, personal ceremony... they exchanged their vows and Lisa read a poem that she'd written for Neil.
We then went to Otley Chevin to capture some couple portraits, before going to Hollins Hall for group photographs. It was then onto the speeches. Again, these were really personal and acknowledged the loved ones who couldn't be there. There were also plenty of laughs! Lisa and Neil then cut their cake and I left them to enjoy their wedding breakfast and party the night away.
A fabulous wedding, where every detail was thought about!
